He was dragged through the darkest street leading to death. He sinned in no way or form but on a mission to redeem mankind. He was named and shamed. He had no comeliness nor form. If there were sins on Him, the torment would have been justified. But He had none. The Father looked down upon the earth and was satisfied with the claim of justice on Him. His form was marred. Only a sinner should have been brutalized like this. He wasn’t. But He was made a sin for us, that anyone that believes in Him shall become the righteousness of God.
2 Corinthians 5:21

He was doomed by earthly rulers, that you and I may not be doomed eternally!

There was silence in heaven. Like a sheep before the shearer, He was led to the cross at Golgotha. “He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before its shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth.” Isaiah 53:7. He was condemned to death. He fought not back. He accepted the claims of justice for what He didn’t do.

He died not because He deserved it. But for a just cause. His body gave way. It could no longer house His spirit. And He gave up the ghost.

The Descent to Hell

You think it ended there? No, it did not. The second phase continued beneath the earth – right in Hell. The demons were jeering, rejoicing that they had gotten the One that troubled them on earth. The cloven of highest ranking Satanic beings ascended from the deepest pit of hell to meet Him that was descending to them. The council of wickedness in the heavenlies flew down to witness their ‘triumph’ over Him that had just tormented them non-stop on earth. They had ‘conquered’ the biggest culprit. Little did they know! I say again, little did they know.

The second punishment began because they found on Him curses, sins, sickness, diseases and poverty. They jeered and roared in victory! They roared with great joy. They flapped their wings and great tumult of sound came out of them. They looked upon Him that tormented them on earth; that drove them out from every man’s bodies; that healed the sick, raised the dead and went about doing good. The memory of what He did triggered them. They snared at Him in great anger. They jubilated. They had prepared a special cell for Him where He would burn with them in hell, thinking He would never see light ever. They made a public spectacle of Him.

The Lord of lords became a captive to the Angel of death and hell. He was led down the pit. But…

I said But. Alas! They heard a rumbling at the entrance gate to hell. Great light descended into the darkest and gloomiest place of the universe. Maybe they thought another one was coming down to them. Alas, they heard a decree from above. They heard the Voice of the One who made all beings – the Father of all spirits. They understood His Voice. What was this all about? They might have wondered.

Had He sinned? Give me a proof that He deserved death. Did He come here because He sinned? In the same victorious command of the Most High, Loose Him! Let Him go!

The power of the Satanic kingdom snapped of Him. He came in bruised, brutalized and bound in the spirit, but His Father loosed Him. He did not deserve to die. He was not a sinner. For a soul that sins shall die be it physical and eternal. Ezekiel 18:20. He was in constant touch with the Father while on earth. Satan forgot to replay that.

“None of the rulers of this age understood it, for if they had, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory.” 1 Corinthians 2:8

The Spirit of God groaned with great power. He descended in all the power of the Father to exert the righteous judgement. He must be fair in justice. The judgement between darkness and Light. Did He sin or not? The videos of His life on earth might have been brought and played before the Satanic Rulers in the darkest theater of hell. See for yourself! They played and replayed and replayed. The one third of the evil beings that rebelled against the Most High at the beginning of ages looked at one another in perplexity. Their wings dropped. The corrupt Cherub looked left and right. He might have yelled in agony (for Bible says he goes about like a roaring lion), Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo! He had not sinned on earth. Who deceived me?

Satan is a father of lies. His followers are. His cohorts are. He was deceived by himself and cohorts. I beg thee in the name of God, do not be a child of Devil. Get his filthy influence off your life. Did you hear me?

For “He (Satan) was a murderer from the beginning, and does not stand in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaks a lie, he speaks from his own resources, for he is a liar and the father of it.” John 8:44. His cohorts all speak from their resources to lie. They have no truth in them. Don’t be like him.

They yelled, We have Him here. That’s all that matters!
No, you don’t idiots! He had committed no sins! He is one with the God! Even the demons believe this, and they tremble in terror. James 2:19
The evil tree can never produce righteous fruits. They knew the Almighty had beaten them with His wisdom – His manifold wisdom.
Let’s bound Him with eternal chains! They might have said.
Nooooooooooooooooooooo! You cannot. The law of the spirit of death is that a soul that sins must die. There is no sin on Him while on earth.
Why is He here then? We saw curses, sins, sickness and diseases on Him as He descended.
Yes, but not for His action on earth. Someone put them on Him on the cross. Did you notice anything like that?

I don’t know!

The Plan

Yes! That was right! The Father put them on Him. He carried all our sins from the day of Adam and Eve till eternity and laid them on Him. Isaiah 53:4. He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, though He was without sin on earth. 2 Corinthians 5:21. He put poverty on Him, though He wasn’t poor on earth. “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, that you through His poverty might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9.
He laid curses that we suppose to get on Him as He hung on the cross. Christ has redeemed us from the curse of the law, having become a curse for us for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who hangs on a tree”. Galatians 3:13
He laid sickness and diseases on Him, though He wasn’t sick on earth. “That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: “He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses.” Matthew 8:17

Whose curses, sins, poverty, sickness and diseases were all these? The demons might have yelled.
Let’s wait and see! That might be the response of their boss.

The Triumph

The Spirit responded for He had seen the travail of His soul and by this claim of justice many are now justified, for “He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we were healed.” Isaiah 53:5 and 1Peter2:24. He had carried their curses on the cross. Let your hands of Him! Hallelujah!

“Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth, (in hell) and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.” Philippians 2:9

His name is…

At the declaration of judgment, all powers in hell went on their knees in obeisance to the One that just conquered them – the Lord Jesus. All knees bowed. The Lion of the Tribe of Judah rose in power. He bound them in chain and dragged them all across the streets of hell from the highest ranking Satanic beings to the lowest. Their wings were clipped. He dragged them naked on the street of hell. He stripped all the spiritual tyrants in the universe of their sham authority at the Cross and marched them naked through the streets. Colossians 2:15 (Message version). All inhabitants of hell beheld the humiliation of Satan and his cohorts. The Lord Jesus came down as a Lamb sacrificed, He rose as a Lion. He made an open show of them in their own territory. He triumphed over them. He did not stop there. He demanded for the keys of life and death from Satan. He collected them. He said in Revelations 1:18 that, “I am the living One. I died, but look—I am alive forever and ever! And I hold the keys of death and the grave.”

The decree was made to all principalities and powers, the rulers of darkness and spiritual wickedness in heavenly places.

  • That anyone who believes Him is redeemed from the curse of the law. Galatians 3:13
  • That at the name of Jesus every knee must bow and every tongue confess that Jesus is Lord to the glory of the Father. Philippians 2:9
  • That whoever shall call on the name of the Lord Jesus shall be saved. Romans 10:13
  • That He was wounded for your transgression and bruised for your iniquities, the chastisement of their peace was laid on Him. Isaiah 53:5
  • That whosoever believes in Him is now henceforth raised with Him. Ephesians 2:6
  • That there is therefore now no condemnation to those who is in Him. Romans 8:1
  • That for humanity sake, sin was laid on Him that we might become the righteousness of God in Christ. 2 Corinthians 5:21
  • That by His stripes we were healed. 1Peter 2:24

The King of glory rose from hell in triumph on the third day. He rose from physical and eternal death. And whosoever believes that He did all these for him/her shall be saved. Shall inherit life, blessing, health, riches and above all eternal fellowship with the Father of all spirits.

Heaven rejoiced as the King of kings ascended from hell. The angels burst into singing. The Lamb of God had paid the ultimate price for our sins and death. And whosoever shall believe in his/her heart that Jesus is Lord and shall confess with his/her mouth shall be saved. Romans 10:10

Have You Made Your Choice?

There is physical death but there is also eternal death afterwards. You can be saved from eternal death – that is, eternal separation from God. Why will you go through life with so much suffering or riches and yet still loose your souls in hell? It is not worth it. It is not God’s will that a man/woman should spend eternity there. Neither is it His intention that you should backslide and never return to Him. The Lord is calling on you to come back to Him. He died for you. He loves you with an everlasting love. No matter how far you have gone from Him, He is not condemning you. Just come back to Him in repentance. Just come back to your Maker. With love He will receive you. The place to run to when you have sinned is God. Don’t hide away like Adam and Eve. There is forgiveness in His blood. 1 John 1: 9 says “If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.”

Just tell Him, Father, I am sorry I have done all these. Forgive me and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. I believe that Jesus is Lord. Amen!

You are not doomed! If you are in Christ.

Christ has redeemed you. You must believe that. You must confess it.

Don’t let the devil rob you of what belongs to you. Since that day till eternity, the angels are singing, bowing down to the Lamb on the throne, saying Worthy is the Lamb that was slain before the foundation of the world.

You too can join them in singing the same as below.

  2. The Lord did all of this for us. He went through hell and back. When we confess the name of the Lord, He saves us from any thing. Accept the life of Christ and be saved from eternal damnation.
