Like a limited edition of some cars, faith is a limited edition amongst mankind. Always alone. It’s a lonely path but a direct route to God’s realm. Faith realm is not common even amongst the household of God. Did He not say in Luke 18:8, “When the Son of man comes back, shall He find faith on the earth?”
It’s over 2,000 years, humanity is already tired. Man must survive. Even Christians have adopted “if you can’t beat them, join them” approach.
We believe we are smart. Continue! Actually, don’t! We have resorted to motivational bites. They are good but not so good, especially when they are not based on the Word of God. When next you have one in your neighborhood, please ask him/her to give you scriptural references for each and every sound bite.
If it’s not in the Word of God, then it’s not by the Spirit of God. As such, it can’t feed your spirit; nor can it produce faith. If it’s not of faith, then it’s sin. Romans 14:28 says, “…everything that does not come from faith is sin.” Then, if you don’t have faith, you cannot please God. Hebrews 11:6. Drop it. Run from it.

See! Walk your lonely path with the Word of God. If it’s not faith in the Word, then it can’t be God.
The sound bite is only good to charge your soul temporarily. Like a phone power bank it doesn’t last. It’s like a way that seems right to a man but the end there of is trouble or worse still the separation from God. Proverbs 14:12.
Sense realm crowds out faith in God. We must labour in the scriptures to let God’s words be the first and final dictate of our lives. Don’t rationalize it! What did I say?
What Must I Do?
The New Testament in the Bible is your friend. Live there as much as you can. That’s where we learn what Christ did for us as believers after His life, death and resurrection. Faith (that is constant hearing and believing God) is God’s dedicated channel for man to reach Him. Walk that path. We must believe what He has said even if no one is. Even if everyone says so but doesn’t mean it deep down. Even if everyone makes the Word second fiddle. I believe, so I have spoken.
The just (believers) shall live by faith. Romans 1:7. We walk by faith not by sight. 2 Corinthians 5:7. The time lapse between your believing what God has said in His words and manifestation is called patience. It’s not slackness or idleness. It’s doing anything that will not negate your belief. It’s taking steps towards it as your heart (i.e. your spirit) directs you. You can call it a premonition, if you wish.
What to do:
- Go and get a daily Bible reading plan and follow through to learn more about God
- Associate with genuine believers that love God and always share the word of God.
- Join a Bible believing local church
- Devote quality time daily to study the word, to pray, to worship and fellowship with God with the help of the Holy Spirit. You need time to build intimacy with God.
What are you believing God for? What scriptures are you standing on? What has God said about that situation? Do you believe that He will do it? Think on those words. Let it sink into your heart that God honors His words. Believe that He will do it and wait patiently for it.

Abraham believed what God spoke to him and he waited, even when the physical situations around him were contrary to what God said. Isn’t it amazing that the physical realm is often contrary to what God says? We have to wait for His manifestations.
Romans 4:20 says, “Yet he (Abraham) did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God”
I tell you, faith is limited edition in our days. Be among the people that have it in these days. Labour to own it. Labour in the Word of God to take hold of the precious and eternal promises in Christ that are meant for us.
