Jesus Was Possessed
The Lord Jesus was possessed! Hold your breath! Yes, He was possessed by the Father God. I am possessed by Him; by His Holy Spirit. Don’t blow your top on me. Below is my proof:
Proverbs 8: 22
“The LORD (JEHOVAH) possessed Me at the beginning of His way, before His works of old.”
Who is Me in that verse? When you read that chapter from verse one through to the end, you will know that the Person speaking through King Solomon was the Holy Spirit, testifying of Jesus the Son, who is Me in that verse.

The Lord Jesus was possessed of the Father. While on earth, He yielded His will to the Father. He brought Himself under the control of the Father. So should you and I.
Like Jesus, I am possessed by His Spirit by my own will. I yielded myself to the Lord – possessed and guided. That is my possession. Under the influence of His Spirit.
So can you! You can of your own volition ask Him to possess you. To take you over and rule your life. You can be drunk to stupor with the infilling of His Spirit. It is real!
I have been in few gatherings where people were tangibly drunk in the Spirit. Oh yes! You will hardly see that most often. Like a drunkard, some laughed hysterically; sang new songs. No drunkard ever has control over himself but that of the liquor. Oh yes, it was awesome. So desirable at all times.
And Ephesians 5:18 AMPC spoke about it: “And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.”
The continuous infilling of the Holy Spirit. I ask: Are you under His influence? Are you giving the Spirit chance to stimulate and influence you? Or are you allowing your senses to guide you? Or are you under the control of the demonic powers as stated in Ephesians 2 above?
You’ve got to choose who rules over your life at all times. The Word of God and His Spirit? Or your senses, elements of this world, demonic spirits?

We need to ask ourselves what is controlling us. Is it the things of the world or is it God and His word. We shouldn’t allow things of the world to control us. Our flesh should not have power over us. We can fight back with the scriptures. And we can also stay away from things of the flesh by reading the word and constantly speaking it. May God continue to bless us
