I’m Possessed

You Are Remotely Controlled

Are you serious? Yes, you can say that. But how?

Turn to Ephesians 2:1 – 3
¹And you He made alive, when you were dead (slain) by your trespasses and sins
² In which at one time you walked [habitually]. You WERE following the course and fashion of this world [were under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air. You were obedient to and under the control of the [demon] spirit that still constantly works in the sons of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].
³ Among these we as well as you once lived and conducted ourselves in the passions of our flesh [our behavior governed by our corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [our cravings dictated by our senses and our dark imaginings]. We were then by nature children of [God’s] wrath and heirs of [His] indignation, like the rest of mankind.

First, you need to know that the scripture above is referring to believers that have been rescued from the power of darkness – no longer under the influence of Satan but under the Lordship of Christ and guidance of the Holy Spirit.

Now, to fully understand the full import of that scripture, imagine someone that is still controlled by his/her flesh, by elements of this world, maybe not born again or born-again but live anyhow, then change the past tenses to present and the scripture will read like this:

¹And you who is still spiritually dead by your trespasses and sins
² In which you are still walking habitually (sinning habitually). You are following the course and fashion of this world [under the sway of the tendency of this present age], following the prince of the power of the air (i.e demonic spirits). You are obedient to and under the control of the demonic spirit that still constantly works in the sons (and daughters) of disobedience [the careless, the rebellious, and the unbelieving, who go against the purposes of God].
³ Among these you as well as many now live and conduct yourself in the passions of your flesh [your behavior governed by your corrupt and sensual nature], obeying the impulses of the flesh and the thoughts of the mind [your cravings dictated by your senses and your dark imaginings]. You are then by nature children of wrath and heirs of indignation, like the rest of mankind.

Did you get it now? That is a terrible way of living. A life devoid of the control of God – totally under the control of Satan. I hope you got my point now.

Now that you know that human beings can be under the control of demons if s/he chooses to go his/her own way – not choosing God. It applies to you, born-again or not. You can still allow Him to have control over you.

All hope is not lost. Christ has come to save you from all the damnation. To revive you by His Spirit and make you alive unto God. Your testimony can be, “And me He made alive, when I was spiritually dead by my trespasses and sins.” Glory! You can be fully possessed of God. Possessed of the Holy Spirit! Yes, you can.
