Enoch walked in a habitual fellowship with God. Noah, his grandson, also walked with God. He had a habitual fellowship with God.
Genesis 5:22 & 24 AMPC
“22Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God after the birth of Methuselah 300 years and had other sons and daughters. 24And Enoch walked [in habitual fellowship] with God; and he was not, for God took him [home with Him].”
Genesis 6:8-9 AMPC
“8But Noah found grace (favor) in the eyes of the Lord. 9 This is the history of the generations of Noah. Noah was a just and righteous man, blameless in his [evil] generation; Noah walked [in habitual fellowship] with God.

They both found grace in the sight of God. They pressed on to be close to God.
Likewise, I have received grace from our Lord Jesus. I have received the Holy Spirit to help me to know God and even our Lord Jesus Christ; to know His word through which His will is revealed unto me.
Not to handle the Word of God deceitfully. Not lying to myself (self denial). But to live by the Word. To uphold my life with and by the Word. By the Word! By the Word!! To allow the Word of God to correct me, encourage me, guide me, strengthen me, build me up and take me deeper into God.
Matthew 4:4 AMPC
4 But Jesus replied (Satan), It has been written, Man shall not live and be upheld and sustained by bread alone, but by every word that comes forth from the mouth of God.
To quench every fiery dart of the enemy by the Word, even as our Lord Jesus did in His earthly walk.
The Lord Jesus was not greedy for gain, nor consented even when Satan tempted Him (Matthew 4:1-11; Proverbs 1:10 & 19). He was wise. He understood the will of God through the word concerning the situations presented during the temptation and even in all areas.
Proverbs 1:10 AMPC
10 My son, if sinners entice you, do not consent.
19 So are the ways of everyone who is greedy of gain; such [greed for plunder] takes away the lives of its possessors.
As the Lord, I am to be wise with the Word. To continually renew my mind with daily study of the Word of God, not conforming to the world so that I understand what the good, perfect and acceptable will of the Lord is.
Romans 12:2 AMPC
2 Do not be conformed to this world (this age), [fashioned after and adapted to its external, superficial customs], but be transformed (changed) by the [entire] renewal of your mind [by its new ideals and its new attitude], so that you may prove [for yourselves] what is the good and acceptable and perfect will of God, even the thing which is good and acceptable and perfect [in His sight for you].
And be continually filled with the Holy Spirit. Spending time in the Word and with the Holy Spirit. Sweet fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Yes, the Holy Spirit. Letting Him ‘brood’ on me and refresh me daily with the Word of life. Word of faith. The engrafted Word that is able to continually save my soul.
Ephesians 5:18 AMPC
18 And do not get drunk with wine, for that is debauchery; but ever be filled and stimulated with the Holy Spirit.
James 1:21 KJV
21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls.
