So I have power. Really? How? From whom? Well, let’s see. Like many of us, we probably feel we are powerless, though we might have been born again for few years, or even more. We might have read many of the scriptures I’m sharing below. But there’s something new every time we read the Word of God. Let’s look at them again.
I will start by asking: Do you believe that you are anointed when you got saved? Well, let’s find an answer to that from the scriptures.
1. You also ARE anointed by God! Yes, you are. As a born-again Christian, you are! Apostle John the beloved, speaking to believers (which includes you and I) in 1 John 2:20 says: “But you have an anointing from the Holy One“
Did you read that? Yes, let it sink in! The next question is “where is the anointing?”
2. The anointing is inside you. Yes! Same Apostle John said in 1 John 2: 27: “But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you…”
The Holy Ghost speaking by Apostle John said that you and I have anointing abiding in us. How did the anointing get into us?
3. We receive the anointing from the Holy Spirit. Apostle Paul said in 1 Corinthians 3:16 concerning believers that: “Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?“
Because He dwells in our spirit, His anointing also abides with us.
Glory to God! I had wanted to scream that since! Amen!
Now you know the source of the anointing within you! Yes, within! What amongst other can you do with that anointing within you?
4. THE ANOINTING WITHIN TEACHES YOU. Yes! 1 John 2:27 says, “…the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him.” If you read the rest of the scripture above, it does not mean you don’t need a pastor or teacher or other ministry gifts or fellow brethren teaching you the Word of God. It simply means that the anointing within you will teach you the Word while studying, as well as confirm the truth in your heart when others are sharing the Word with you.
What else?
5. THE ANOINTING DESTROYS YOKES! The yokes do not only mean satanic oppression, but also include strongholds, beliefs, culture, experience, knowledge, imagination and anything that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God in us.
That is what the yoke does to a man or woman. It yokes that person to the satanic influence, powers, sickness etc. But thank be to God for His deliverance. The anointing illuminates the Word of God in our spirit and cause us to see what Christ has done for us. It stirs us up to stand against those yokes and pull them down through faith in the name of Jesus! To pull down every strongholds! It destroys yokes. It put a stop to satanic oppression.
The devil knows that Jesus Christ has wrought the victory for us. With the knowledge of this, we can stand against the enemy and claim our victory in the redemptive package. Hallelujah!
The anointing to heal you is in you! The Healer is in you. You can be healed right now of anything. It’s done. It’s your right to live healthy!
PRAYER:
Father, I believe your Spirit dwells in me because I’m born again
I believe Your anointing dwells in me. I believe Your Healing anointing is in me. You healed me thousands of years ago. You bore my sickness long ago. So I am heard now. My spirit is healed. My mind is healed. My body is healed.
Therefore I call to effect now that all yoke of sickness and diseases, of darkness in my life that has been keeping me down
are destroyed now by Your anointing in me, in the name of Jesus!
Destroyed and never manifest again in the name of Jesus!
Thank you Father because I’m free of any yoke from today on, in the name of my Lord Jesus!
Thank you because Your Spirit will continue to teach me the truth and guide me. Amen!
CONCLUSION:
Simple! That is faith. Believing and declaring what the Word of God says over our life! And He hastens to perform His Words.
