Let the fire fall. The God that answers by fire let Him be my God! When the fire of God fell in the olden days, it brought revival and transformation in the hearts of men and women. Elijah called on God and revival hit the land.

In our days, the revival starts in our hearts.

Jesus told the disciples to tarry in Jerusalem until they receive power.

Just 120 people consecrated themselves to pray and wait for God’s Holy Ghost. He came like fire and gave them power. They received the baptism of fire. They were changed. And the Lord added 3,000 to them in one day.

It appears there are certain patterns that God has consistently shown through scriptures.

First, Jehovah God is clothed in unapproachable light and the great fire that burns around His Throne. Alagbada Ina!

The Spirit of God manifests that fire in our days.

The fire is a two-edged sword – 1) To refine and purify us as we yield to Him so that we can be holy and 2) to declare judgment on powers of darkness as said in Malachi 3:3-5.

Holiness without which we cannot see Him. So that our obedience can be complete in Him.

He says in 2 Corinthians 10:6 that when our obedience is complete, then we can revenge all disobedience! We can call down the fire. We can stamp the enemy out of our gate.

With the purification, then He can put His coal of fire on our lips like He did for Isaiah (Chapter 6: 6 to 7) to purge us and cleanse us.

Then the Holy Ghost descends mightily upon us and His fire burns through our lips in deep utterances and mystery that dethrone principalities and powers over our lands.

Who has known the mind of God? For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God. No one knows the things of God except by the Spirit of God! Hmm.

Thank you Father, for your mystery which you constantly reveal to us for so it pleases you in Your own way.

We yield ourselves to know you more and be close to your heart. To dwell in us by your Spirit as we behold your shekinah glory non-stop.

Thank you Father! We love you our Saviour, our Redeemer. Nothing compares to You. And nothing can separate us from Your Love. Not even the present situations.

Like Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, like Daniel, like all patriarchs of old, we stand firm in the faith, we join our faith to the cloud of witnesses above us and we yield ourselves to the Father of all spirits and we reign supreme with you.

Father, we thank You, our God! Amen and amen!
