Be virtuous! Like a damsel, she walks down the grasses, adorned in meekness of heart. Be virtuous as your Father.
Beauty of holiness. Garment untainted. Righteousness like rivers. Let not the society define you. Head raised high in honour of the King of Kings. The daughter of the Most High, clothed in majesty. Walking majestically down the road. She has not sold her birthright. She beholds every good things. Comely in appearance like a morning dove. She is gorgeous, elegant, favoured by His Father’s angels. Who can ignore her beauty? Who can wave off her meekness? A royal priesthood. A holy nation budding off soon. Who can but admire her beauty? Her lips drop honey – grace and truth. No guile in her lips. A crowned queen, beloved of the Lord. Her hands have brought her honour. Not slothful, but nurturing her own.
I speak of her that has made the Most High her dwelling place. I speak of you that have made the Most High your refuge. Your Provider. Your Helper. Lean not on the help of a man, for vain is the help of a man. Incur not the wrath of the Most High upon your life. Dwell under the shadow of Thy Maker. Let Him nourish you. Let His Love envelopes you like a morning dew upon the tender grasses. Let His glory bellows on you as waves of the seas upon the corals. Let His Voice awakes you in the morning. Let His Love envelopes your soul. Protect your heart. Guide it diligently for out of it are the issues of life.
Let Your Maker be Your Guide. Be led of His Spirit. Like Rebecca to Isaac, let His Spirit lead you. Walk not by sight. Walk not by your wanton desire. Many are the devices in the hearts of men, but the Lord directs. Lean not in your own understanding but commit all your ways to Him. Desire The Truth. Desire that which is Godly. Desire that which cringes not at the holy things. Desire that which hungrily seeks after your God, the Most Living God.
Desire that which thirsts and hungers after the Most Holy God. Desire that which is not given to slumber nor slothfulness. Desire that which is gentle and kind. Meek in the Spirit but bold like a lion. Desire that which daily seeks the Most High God, whose God is his Helper. Desire Life that you may live. Throw your gold to fire. If it is gold it will shine better with meekness, gentleness, kindness, love and perseverance. If your “gold” is not pure, it will melt. It will change colour – the true character will come out. Patch not. Reason not in your heart – “After all, we all human”. Thirst not after that which fades away quickly. The Fire of the Holy Spirit is a Purifier. Call in His Fire to reveal the chaff from the wheat, gold from wood. Lean on Him to guide you. Cast not the pearls before the swine.
Time reveals intents of heart. Rush not but in faith and meekness trust in the Lord. Do not be rash but commit thy way unto the Lord.
Your Boaz will protect you, even when you do not know. Did Boaz not say to Ruth? “You will listen, my daughter, will you not? Do not go to glean in another field, nor go from here, but stay close by my young women. Let your eyes be on the field which they reap, and go after them. Have I not commanded the young men not to touch you? And when you are thirsty, go to the vessels and drink from what the young men have drawn.”
Ruth 2: 8 -9.
Hear the Wisdom of God. Did Boaz not tell Ruth? “Blessed are you of the Lord, my daughter! For you have shown more kindness at the end than at the beginning, in that you did not go after young men, whether poor or rich.” Ruth 3:10.
There lies the secret! Even if you have sinned, do not bury yourself alive. Go before the Lord today and genuinely ask for forgiveness. He will forgive you and restore you. Go before Him in prayers as the Psalmist says below. I pray that God will reach out to you in great mercy and wipe away your tears and send help to your heart. And give you a new beginning in the mighty name of Jesus!
Psalms 51: A Prayer of Repentance
Have mercy upon me, O God,
According to Your loving kindness;
According to the multitude of Your tender mercies,
Blot out my transgressions.
Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity,
And cleanse me from my sin.
For I acknowledge my transgressions,
And my sin is always before me.
Against You, You only, have I sinned,
And done this evil in Your sight—
That You may be found just when You speak,
And blameless when You judge.
Behold, I was brought forth in iniquity,
And in sin my mother conceived me.
Behold, You desire truth in the inward parts,
And in the hidden part You will make me to know wisdom.
Purge me with hyssop, and I shall be clean;
Wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.
Make me hear joy and gladness,
That the bones You have broken may rejoice.
Hide Your face from my sins,
And blot out all my iniquities.
Create in me a clean heart, O God,
And renew a steadfast spirit within me.
Do not cast me away from Your presence,
And do not take Your Holy Spirit from me.
Restore to me the joy of Your salvation,
And uphold me by Your generous Spirit.
Then I will teach transgressors Your ways,
And sinners shall be converted to You.
Deliver me from the guilt of bloodshed, O God,
The God of my salvation,
And my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness.
O Lord, open my lips,
And my mouth shall show forth Your praise.
You do not desire sacrifice, or else I would give it;
You do not delight in burnt offering.
The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit,
A broken and a contrite heart—
These, O God, You will not despise.
Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion;
Build the walls of Jerusalem.
Then You shall be pleased with the sacrifices of righteousness,
With burnt offering and whole burnt offering;
Then they shall offer bulls on Your altar.
