No matter what people say, no matter how horrible your life is. No matter the situation you are going through. No matter how unfair life is to you. Jesus said, “God did not send Me to condemn You but that through Him you might be saved” John 3:17.
Through Him! You are not condemned by Him. But through Him you can be saved from all your troubles and woes! From all rejection, from all loneliness, from all heart aches, from all diseases, from all disappointments! Only through Him! Jesus Christ.
He said, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest” Matthew 11:28. Rest from the oppression of the devil, rest from those loneliness, rest from that trouble, rest from rejection and dejection, rest from all the challenges that the world will throw your way.
He is not calling you to a self-denial, but He will give you His own peace in your heart. Peace not as the world gives (John 14:27) but the peace of God. The peace of God. The peace of the Holy Spirit. The peace that passes all understanding. The peace that the world cannot give you. The peace that reigns in your heart in assurance that your God lives forever more. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, that can guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” from calamity (Philippians 4:7).
It is only God that gives peace. Your car, your job, your money, your possession cannot give you peace. You know in your heart that they do not. Peace comes only from God. He is the Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).
Why are you procrastinating? Why are you allowing the enemy to toss you to and fro in life? Why are you groaning in so much pain? Why are you hurting so badly as though there is no solution? Why are you going through this with so much agony?
There is Someone who can help you. You may have heard about Him. You may have even prayed in His name. You may even think you know Him. But He said, I know my sheep. Are you His obedient child? Do you hear His voice? Does He hear you?
“I am the good shepherd. I know My sheep and My sheep know Me, just as the Father knows Me and I know the Father. And I lay down My life for the sheep. I have other sheep that are not of this fold. I must bring them in as well, and they will listen to My voice. Then there will be one flock and one shepherd.” John 10: 14 – 16.
Maybe it is time to reflect on how you have been relating with Him. Maybe it is time to be closer to Him. He says, “Is there anything too hard for me to do?” He is the Lord, the God of all flesh. There is nothing too hard for Him to do. Jeremiah 32:27. He sent His Son Jesus Christ to come to the earth thousands of years ago, to save you and I, even before we were born. He knew that we would be born one day and we will inherit the sins of man. But there is a Redeemer who came for you and I to save us. He who believes in Him (Jesus) is not condemned. The Word of God says “everyone (anyone) who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved” Acts 2:21. Will you call on Jesus now to help you, to save you from this hurt, from this agony, from this pain, from this situation? Will you? Will you let Him take your yoke and burden? Will you give Him a chance in your life? You have struggled, doing it alone, trying to figure it out by yourself. “Come unto me all you that labour and are heavy laden and I will give you rest”, Jesus said in Matthew 11:28. Don’t go through life, shortchanging yourself. It is paid for. Your Creator has paid for all your sins and agony that can prevent you from coming to Him to fulfill the will of God for your life. To serve the Most High God and not Satan. You only need to confess and acknowledge His sovereignty over your life from today. You only need to surrender it to Him from your heart. Don’t hold back the hurt. Don’t hold back the rejection. Lay everything before Him. His ear is not too heavy that He cannot hear you. Isaiah 59:1. Lay the burden at the feet of the Master Jesus today. With heart a man believes unto righteousness and confesses it with his mouth unto God so that he can be saved, redeemed from sins and its powers and become renewed as a child of God. Roman 10:10. Jesus did it for you and I many years ago. He has the power to purify you and make you have no more consciousness of sins according to Hebrews 10:2.
Say to yourself loud and clear in prayer – Lord Jesus, I acknowledge that I cannot do it alone. I acknowledge my struggle in this life. It has been agonizing. Life is not fair to me. But I want to come to you to save me. I know I am not as clean as you want. When I look at all that I have done in sins, I know it is only you that can cleanse me. I accept you today as my Lord and Saviour. Come and cleanse me and make my heart new as your child. Accept me as yours and calm all the troubles in my heart. Let me serve you for the rest of my life. I renounce all sins and evil covenant to anyone or Satan. I accept You into my life as my Lord and Saviour. Come and fill me with You. For I pray in your name, Jesus Christ. Amen.
